Genocure (CEO Kim Tae-hyun, hereinafter 'Genocure'), a bio-regeneration company specializing in PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide), and PYDERIN, a functional cosmetics brand company, announced on the 30th that they held a 'PDRN Value Chain Joint Launch Ceremony' through a strategic partnership based on equity exchange, encompassing all areas from raw materials to manufacturing and distribution.
The purpose of this joint launch is to integrate Genocure's natural PDRN and recombinant PDRN raw material technology with PYDERIN's product planning, branding, commercialization, and domestic and international distribution capabilities into a single value chain. The two companies plan to jointly expand their PDRN-based business by sharing long-term interests through equity exchange, going beyond a simple supply contract.
Genocure will be responsible for the research, development, and manufacturing of PDRN raw materials, establishing a stable raw material supply system based on standardized quality criteria and technical data. In particular, the company recently established mass production technology for recombinant PDRN, publicly unveiled it, and completed efficacy verification, drawing attention as a next-generation raw material platform that complements the limitations of existing natural PDRN. The company explained that these technological advancements are laying the foundation for expansion beyond cosmetics to medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and bio-application areas.
PYDERIN will promote the planning and branding of various product lines, focusing on cosmetics utilizing Genocure's PDRN raw materials. Furthermore, it plans to accelerate the commercialization of PDRN-applied products by leading exports, partnerships, and licensing agreements targeting the global market, in addition to domestic distribution.
Through this joint launch, the two companies aim to simultaneously enhance the reliability and scalability of the overall PDRN industry by integrating the entire lifecycle (Value Chain) from PDRN raw material technology → product design → branding → market distribution into a single structure. In particular, they will secure differentiated competitiveness by maintaining consistent quality, messaging, and technical storytelling from the raw material stage to the final consumer touchpoint.
